How to Apply

Get an adviser

If you want to become a teacher or return to teaching in England, a teacher training adviser can guide you through the process with free one-to-one support.

Your adviser will help you with:

Who can get an adviser?

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree class 2:2 (honours) or higher, or an overseas qualification that is equivalent.

You can get an adviser if you’re still studying for your degree. Before your final year, you can get advice for when you’re ready to apply. If you’re in your final year, you’ll need a predicted class 2:2 (honours) or higher.

If you’ve worked as a teacher before, and you’re thinking of returning to the profession to teach maths, physics or modern languages, you’ll need qualified teacher status (QTS).

To apply to the Alliance of Leading Learning

Search for providers of the subject that you wish to teach on the Teaching Provider Portal in the area that you wish to train. The Alliance of Leading Learning is based at The Marches School in Oswestry but we are expanding with two new hubs in Telford and Mid Wales. We offer schools across the West Midlands and into Wales.

Navigate to the bottom of the page and you will see the option to apply.

Once we receive your application, we will email you straight away and offer to meet you on line or face to face to further discuss your application and plan an interview date.

We are currently offering face to face interviews for primary and on line interviews for secondary but we are happy to adapt the interview process to accommodate your needs.
