NPQH – Delivery
“What a fantastic residential experience. I genuinely feel valued and looked after – in both my professional development as a leader and because of the impressive hotel facilities. Would recommend this as a real incentive to join this programme above others.”
Jo Whitmore, Primary Headteacher, Lichfield
At the Alliance of Leading Learning we are intent on investing fully in your professional learning. We want to ensure you have a quality experience and the time to focus solely on your leadership learning without the distractions of the day job. Our NPQH residential has proven to be exceptional and the feedback has been excellent – 100% of delegates would recommend the programme to a professional colleague. We understand some delegates are anxious about spending two days away from school and family commitments – but all feedback has confirmed such anxieties were surpassed by the deep learning achieved through investing this time.
*Please do contact us at AdminALL@leadinglearning.co.uk with any personal issues you may have with the residential and we will always do our best to ensure we find a resolution.
Our residentials will be held at the luxurious Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa, a 4 star hotel in Nantwich which is equidistant for our delegates from the North West and West Midlands and is only 5 miles away from Crewe train station. *Those accessing our NPQH from outside these regions will be contacted as we can offer a room the night before the training.
Gateway for applications for cohort K remains open – the deadline for application is Friday 31st March 2021
Please register to be sent an application form. *Please be aware the application form needs you to invest quality time to evidence you hit the success criteria. You also need to ensure your sponsor has time to verify each section of your application and you need to plan for this.
As you will be aware, we are renowned for the active facilitation of our programmes and we strongly advocate F2F learning. This is particularly important for high profile programmes such as NPQH where the networking opportunity and the investment in time away from work is paramount to really embedding the learning. We are therefore actively planning for our gold standard residential experiences to take place for our NPQH. However, rest assured should restrictions remain in place for conferences we will continue delivery of the NPQH on line.
*Those of you in high risk groups and working from home for the foreseeable future will be supported in accessing the NPQH virtually and continuing to move your professional learning forward.
*FOR THOSE APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS ONLY
SCHOLARSHIP Update September 2020
The Department for Education (DfE) has communicated that scholarships funding is now currently exceeding budgets available so that funding may not now be available for all programmes commencing before the 31st March 2021. Currently, the DfE are only guaranteeing scholarships for participants who commenced their NPQ programmes with us before the 31st July 2020.
Please do watch for further notifications on this website regarding scholarship funding as we anticipate there will be a new round of scholarship funding announced by the DfE
The current NPQ scholarship eligibility funding criteria for state-maintained schools in England is:
- All schools that are in a category 5 or 6 area.
- All schools that are part of a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which has a footprint (at least one school) in a category 5 or 6 area.
- All schools that are part of a Diocese which has a footprint (at least one school) in a category 5 or 6 area.
Example of footprint: The participant is currently working in a school in a category 4, 3 , 2 or 1 area and wouldn’t be normally be eligible for funding; however, because the participant’s school is part of a MAT or Diocese, and within that MAT / diocese there is at least one school in a category 5 or 6 area, the participant is therefore eligible for funding.
For registrations not dependent on a scholarship – we are very much continuing to accept applications and will do until Friday 31st March 2021.
Your launch Sessions will be delivered online via webinar and access to our online learning platform. We hope to deliver remaining sessions face-to-face in your chosen delivery location.
We continue to accept registrations and the new deadline for full applications for cohort K is Friday 31st March 2021.
